These fudgy brownies are filled with a gooey peanut butter layer, creating a perfect match of chocolate and peanut butter flavors. Easy to make, they elevate any old chocolate brownie recipe.
Spread the peanut butter in a 20x20cm baking tray lined with baking paper. Freeze for 1 hour.
Melt the butter and chocolate together in the microwave, then add the sugars and whisk until melted through. Once slightly cool, add the eggs.
Fold through the flour and cocoa powder.
Take the peanut butter from the freezer. Place more baking paper into the same tray and pour half of the brownie batter in. Top it with the frozen peanut butter layer, then pour the rest of the brownie mixture on top.
Bake at 175°C for 35 minutes.
